The Medicine Wheel is at the center of traditional healing and spirituality. The wheel is a circle reminding us of the continuity of everything in the universe. Within the wheel there are the FOUR DIRECTIONS (north, east, south and west), the four colors of the human race (red, white, yellow and black), the four medicines (sweetgrass, tobacco, cedar and sage) , the four elements (air, fire, earth and water). Within the circle are the seven teachings, truth and wisdom, love and respect, bravery, honesty and humility. These are the basic teachings.
